Academic Interests
Dr. North is an Associate in Global Health at the MGH Center for Global Health, Department Associate in Environmental Health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Faculty in the MGH Medical Practice Evaluation Center. Her R01-funded research portfolio is focused on the intersection of HIV, air pollution, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in vulnerable and historically understudied populations, with a particular emphasis on life course determinants of lung health.
