Medical Education
Fellows on the Medical Education Pathway will prepare for a career in teaching and educational leadership. In addition to engaging in a variety of teaching activities, trainees are expected to engage in research in medical education, create innovative educational tools or interventions, and/or generate curricula.
This pathway is supported by the unique opportunities and infrastructure available through the Carl. J Shapiro Institute for Education and Research at BIDMC. Mentorship is provided by division faculty members who are leaders in medical education and faculty of the Institute.
Formal training in medical education and education research is additionally available through several programs affiliated with BIDMC and Harvard Medical School:

- HMS Academy Fellowship in Medical Education Research
