Cystic Fibrosis and Bronchiectasis
The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center at Massachusetts General Hospital is a unique multidisciplinary clinic providing care to the growing population of adults with cystic fibrosis. Fellows will see CF patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and will collaborate with other specialties, including endocrinology and gastroenterology, to optimize patient care.
For fellows interested in pursuing a career in CF and bronchiectasis, additional clinical training will include the evaluation of non-CF bronchiectasis patients, including patients with hereditary and acquired lung disease and non-tuberculous mycobacterial (NTM) infections. There are also opportunities to participate in the multidisciplinary NTM case conference and see patients in the infectious disease myobacaterial clinic.
