Academic Interests

Dr. Ferrera's academic interests include clinical reasoning, medical simulation, and obstructive lung diseases. He serves as a core faculty member of Harvard Medical School's Integrated Human Pathophysiology II and the BIDMC Department of Medicine Simulation Curriculum. He co-leads a critical appraisal curriculum for the internal medicine residents. He completed the Rabkin Fellowship in Medical Education in 2026.
